NEW COFFEE OF THE MOMENT
Brazil Daterra Blossom This exceptional coffee is named so, by the cuppers at Daterra who found it to have heavy floral notes. It consists of the Guarani variety, cultivated at an altitude of 1150 metres, which gives it its distinct sweet delicate aromas of lilies and jasmine. Pulped natural is a process where the skin is removed from the coffee cherry. This leaves the fruity mucilage still intact during the drying process, producing unique flavours and a much sweeter taste compared to other methods. Due to this process it produces a much higher quality product and is considered the best out of the whole Daterra collection. KENYA PEABERRY RETURNS
After a long wait, we finally have managed to source Kenya Peaberry beans again! This rich aromatic coffee has been a firm customer favourite here at MacBEANS for many years, however, with demand outstripping supply in recent times, it has become difficult to maintain a steady supply. The name peaberry comes from a natural mutation that occurs in this type of coffee whereby, instead of two beans growing flat against each other inside the coffee cherry, only a single bean grows inside each cherry. NEW COFFEE TRILOGY We have managed to source three fanastic coffees from the South East Asia/Oceania region to showcase for our new triolgy! The Vietnam Ea Tan, Myanmar Greenland Natural and the Papua New Guinea Elimbari! We still have some of our Burundi Bokhorka available from the last trilogy and will continue to sell this until our stocks run out.
