Rwanda - Gasigati AA
From the Kinini washing station in the Rulindo region of Rwanda. This delightful, washed processed coffee is medium roasted with a floral aroma, syrupy body and notes of blackcurrant, milk chocolate and white grapes.
Coffee cherries are placed in a cleaning tank for a first wash before a 24h dry fermentation. They are then washed again before the coffee is sent to soaking tanks for a further 24 hours before being transported downstream to raised beds for controlled drying and quality control. The coffee is then sun dried for an average of 15 days, depending on sun intensity.
