The Far East Trilogy
Our new trilogy includes a fantastic selection of two washed coffees and one natural coffee from Vietnam, Papua New Guinea and Myanmar.
Myanmar - Green Land
The Green Land Estate is one of Myanmar’s largest coffee plantation at an altitude of 1150m above sea level. The plantation produces many varietals of arabica and the beans we have in stock highlight this with their depth of flavour. This natural coffee has notes of apple, cherry, chocolate, and rum.
Papua New Guinea - Elimbari
The coffee is grown mainly by smallholders in ‘gardens’ – a small plot of land that contains everything from a few trees up to a three-hectare plot at most. Once picked coffee is pulped, and then dry fermented for 24 hours before being washed and dried. This washed coffee boasts notes of chocolate cream, grapefruit, apple and caramel.
Vietnam - Ea Tan
The Ea Tan Cooperative are based in Đắk Lắk, an inland province of Vietnam amongst the central highland area. Cherries picked are processed the same day, with a pulper removing the mucilage and skin, followed by a wet fermentation for 1-2 days. This washed coffee possesses notes of caramel, honey and tobacco.
Buy individually for £7 per 250g or try all three for £18.
