Description: Old Brown Java is a distinctive and characterful coffee from Indonesia, known for its smooth, earthy profile and syrupy body.

Grown at around 1400 metres and fully washed, this coffee is then naturally aged for two years in a warehouse, developing deeper flavour, increased sweetness and reduced acidity.

Roasted to a medium level, it delivers a rich and aromatic cup with notes of bitter chocolate, Tobacco subtle spice and a smooth syrupy body with a lingering finish.

The ageing process gives this coffee its unique profile, creating a fuller body and mellow character that sets it apart from fresher coffees.

Available as whole beans or ground and freshly roasted in Aberdeen.
